The 19th International Trade Fair "Brčko District 2025" was held on October 15, 2025, organized by the Chamber of Commerce of the Brčko District, with the support of the Government of the District.

Over 100 exhibitors from all countries in the region, as well as from Austria and Slovakia, were present, with the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina being the fair's general partner, having signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The fair also promoted the international Erasmus+ project INTECO, aimed at strengthening the connection between higher education institutions from the Western Balkans and companies from the region, establishing new centers for international cooperation, and career development centers at higher education institutions in the Western Balkans.

U periodu od 23. do 25. rujna 2025. godine u Madridu  održat će se treći sastanak partnera projekta INTECO (Project: 101177758 — INTECO — ERASMUS-EDU-2024-CBHE).

Domaćin sastanka je Universidad Politecnica de Madrid (UPM), a u radu će sudjelovati predstavnici partnerskih institucija:

• Evropski univerzitet  Brčko district 
• Sveučilište/Univerzitet "VITEZ"
• Sveučilište Hercegovina 
• Univerzitet Adriatik  Bar 
• Universidad Politecnica de Madrid (UPM)
• Veleučilište Baltazar Zaprešić
• Akademija tehničko-umjetničkih strukovnih studija Beograd
• RTV Hit doo Brčko Distrikt 

Program sastanka obuhvatit će niz radionica, diskusija i prezentacija posvećenih unapređenju međunarodne suradnje visokoškolskih institucija Zapadnog Balkana. Ključne teme uključuju:

• ulogu i aktivnosti međunarodnih ureda,
• razvoj i harmonizaciju strategija za internacionalizaciju,
• kreiranje akcionih planova za osnivanje i jačanje centara za međunarodnu suradnju,
• mogućnosti i izazove Erasmus programa i međunarodnih partnerstava.

Sastanak u Madridu predstavlja značajan korak ka ostvarenju ciljeva projekta INTECO, čija je misija jačanje kapaciteta visokoškolskih ustanova Zapadnog Balkana kroz internacionalizaciju, modernizaciju i razvoj održivih partnerstava sa institucijama Europske unije.

We are pleased to announce the third transnational meeting of the INTECO project, which will take place in Madrid from September 23 to 25, 2025. The meeting will be hosted by Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), one of the project’s key partner institutions.

The main focus of this meeting will be the establishment of an international relations office, along with a broader discussion on the internationalization of higher education institutions. Special emphasis will be placed on the development of an institutional internationalization strategy, aiming to strengthen the capacity of partner universities to engage in international academic and research activities in a sustainable way.

During the meeting, participants will review the progress made so far, including completed tasks, achieved results, and any challenges encountered. The agenda will also include planning for upcoming activities and defining next steps to ensure the successful implementation of the remaining phases of the project.

Active participation of all partners, exchange of knowledge and best practices, and collaborative planning will be essential components of this important gathering in Madrid.

Na Evropskom univerzitetu u Brčkom dana 05 i 06 decembra 2024. godine održan je prvi sastanak na kome je predstavljen Međunarodni projekat INTECO koji je posvećen unapređenju obrazovanja na Zapadnom Balkanu uz uvođenje pametnih tehnologija i osnivanje Centara za međunarodnu saradnju i Centara za razvoj karijere. EUBD - European University Leading International Consortia for the Advancement of Education – HIT Television

The first meeting presenting the international INTECO project, dedicated to advancing education in the Western Balkans through the introduction of smart technologies and the establishment of Centers for International Cooperation and Career Development Centers, was held at the European University in Brčko on December 5 and 6, 2024.

The project is led by the European University Brčko, and the international consortium consists of:
