U ponedjeljak 26.maja 2025.godine održaće se drugi sastanak učesnika međunarodnog projekta INTECO (Project number: 101177758 – INTECO – ERASMUS-EDU-2024-CBHE), koji ima za cilj unapređenje procesa međunarodne saradnje i povezivanja visokoškolskih ustanova Zapadnog Balkana s univerzitetima iz Evropske unije i privrednim sektorom.

Projekat INTECO (više informacija na: https://www.inteco.eubd.edu.ba/) okuplja visokoškolske institucije iz regiona koje do sada nijesu imale razvijenu međunarodnu saradnju ili je ista bila ograničenog dometa. Među partnerskim institucijama sa Zapadnog Balkana su: Evropski univerzitet Brčko Distrikt BIH, Sveučilište/Univerzitet „Vitez“, Sveučilište Hercegovina i Univerzitet Adriatik Bar. Projekat uključuje i prestižne evropske partnere: Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Španija), Veleučilište Baltazar Zaprešić (Hrvatska) i Akademiju tehničko-umetničkih strukovnih studija (Srbija).

Evropski partneri će, kroz razmjenu iskustava i dobre prakse, pružiti podršku partnerskim institucijama sa Zapadnog Balkana u ostvarivanju projektnih ciljeva. INTECO projekat će značajno doprinijeti podizanju nivoa međunarodne saradnje, kao i stvaranju preduslova za učešće u budućim međunarodnim i regionalnim projektima i programima mobilnosti.

Glavni ciljevi INTECO projekta su formiranje Centara za međunarodnu saradnju (ICC) i Centara za razvoj karijere (CDC) na visokoškolskim institucijama Zapadnog Balkana, te izrada i implementacija Strategije internacionalizacije.

Kroz uspostavljanje ICC-a, doprinijeće se jačanju kapaciteta i kvaliteta obrazovanja i istraživanja, unapređenju studijskih programa, povećanju broja mobilnosti studenata i nastavnog osoblja, te jačanju saradnje sa stranim univerzitetima, naučnim institucijama i privredom. Strategija će uključivati i aspekte digitalizacije, inkluzije i ekološke održivosti.

S druge strane, CDC-ovi će imati ključnu ulogu u pružanju podrške studentima i diplomantima u razvoju karijernih planova, sticanju praktičnih znanja i vještina tokom studija, kao i povezivanju sa poslovnim sektorom, čime će se olakšati njihov ulazak na tržište rada.

Ovim projektom Univerzitet Adriatik Bar potvrđuje svoju posvećenost jačanju regionalne i međunarodne saradnje, kao i pružanju kvalitetnog obrazovanja u skladu sa savremenim evropskim standardima.

Sveučilište/Univerzitet “VITEZ” sudjeluje kao partner u međunarodnom projektu INTECO – “Internacionalizacija i ekonomska suradnja visokoškolskih ustanova Zapadnog Balkana”, koji je financiran sredstvima Europske unije. Glavni cilj INTECO projekta je jačanje međunarodne suradnje te povezivanje visokoobrazovnih institucija sa sektorom gospodarstva u Bosni i Hercegovini i Crnoj Gori. Projekt ima poseban fokus na unapređenje kapaciteta visokoškolskih ustanova koje do sada nisu imale razvijenu međunarodnu dimenziju.

Koordinator projekta je Visokoškolska ustanova Europski univerzitet Brčko Distrikt BiH, osim
Sveučilišta ”VITEZ” ostale visokoškolske institucije sa Zapadnog Balkana koje sudjeluju u projektu
uključuju:

• Sveučilište Hercegovina, Bosna i Hercegovina
• Univerzitet Adriatik Bar, Crna Gora
• Poduzeće za radio difuznu proizvodnju i trgovinsku djelatnost HIT doo
  Projekt se implementira uz podršku partnerskih institucija iz Europske unije, koje pružaju stručno znanje i
  iskustvo u području internacionalizacije i suradnje s gospodarstvom:
• Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Španjolska
• Veleučilište Baltazar Zaprešić (BALTAZAR), Hrvatska
• Akademija tehničko-umjetničkih strukovnih studija (ATUSS), Srbija
  Jedan od ključnih aktivnosti u provedbi projekta je osnivanje:
• Centra za razvoj karijere (CDC) – s ciljem jačanja veza između studenata i tržišta rada
• Centra za međunarodnu suradnju (ICC) – kako bi se povećala mobilnost, prijave na EU projekte i
  međunarodno umrežavanje
• Projekt INTECO donosi dugoročnu vrijednost visokoškolskim ustanovama kroz podizanje razine
  međunarodne aktivnosti, bolju povezanost s gospodarstvom i jačanje institucionalnih kapaciteta.
  Sveučilište/Univerzitet “VITEZ“ aktivno sudjeluje u svim fazama projekta te svojim doprinosom
  osigurava uspješnu realizaciju postavljenih ciljeva u suradnji s domaćim i međunarodnim partnerima.

On May 26th and 27th, the second partner meeting of the INTECO project will be held at Adriatik University Bar in Montenegro. Partners from various universities and institutions involved in the project will gather to discuss progress, share experiences , and plan the next steps for enhancing international cooperation and collaboration with the business sector in the Western Balkans.

The INTECO project (https://www.inteco.eubd.edu.ba/) aims to improve the process of international cooperation and cooperation with higher education institutions in the countries of the Western Balkans (European University of Brčko District BIH, University "VITEZ", University Hercegovina, Adriatic University Bar) through networking with universities from the EU (Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, Baltazar Zaprešić College with public rights, Academy of Technical and Artistic Vocational Studies) and the private sector.

EU partner institutions will provide assistance to higher education institutions in the Western Balkans with their experience and best practices in achieving the goals of the project. The INTECO project will enable international cooperation to be raised to a higher level at the higher education institutions in the Western Balkans (WB) and create the conditions for participation in other international and regional project calls and mobility. Also, the Western Balkans INTECO project will allow higher education institutions to establish stronger connections between the Western Balkans and the business sector.

The goal of the project is to establish new International Cooperation Centers (ICC) and Career Development Centers (CDC) at higher education institutions in the Western Balkans, as well as to develop an internationalization strategy with the help of EU partners.

Through the development of the ICC, the project will contribute to capacity building and raising the quality level of education and scientific research activities at the universities through international cooperation and the implementation of international projects. The main goals of the Internationalization Strategy will be: improvement of study programs, increasing the number of incoming and outgoing mobilities, enhancing cooperation with foreign universities, scientific institutions, businesses, and other partner institutions through international projects, digitalization, inclusion, and ecological sustainability.

The role of the CDC will be to assist students and graduates of higher education institutions in the Western Balkans in realizing their career plans, helping them acquire relevant experience, knowledge, and skills during their studies that will be important for further professional development and employment, as well as connecting them with the business community and preparing them for a successful entry into the labor market after graduation.

The next meeting of the INTECO project signatories will be held in Bar at Adriatic University Bar from May 26 to 27, 2025.

The INTECO project aims to improve the process of international cooperation and collaboration with the economy of higher education institutions in the Western Balkans (European University Brčko District BIH, University “VITEZ”, University Hercegovina, Adriatik University Bar) through networking with EU higher education institutions (Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, University of Applied Sciences with public rights Baltazar Zaprešić, Academy of Technical and Artistic Vocational Studies) and the business sector, the HIT d.o.o. radio broadcasting production and commercial activities company. The goal of the project is to create new International Cooperation Centers (ICC) and Career Development Centers (CDC) at higher education institutions in the Western Balkans, as well as to develop an internationalization strategy with the help of EU partners.

The joint EU and Council of Europe project "Priorities of Higher Education Development in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the period 2016-2026" outlines a plan regarding the connection between the labor market and higher education, which, among other things, plans to modernize existing study programs and increase the number of study programs for qualifications in demand on the labor market, as well as give high priority to research and innovation at higher education institutions—supported by governments—and direct innovation toward priority areas (new industries, Horizon projects, etc.).

Through the development of ICC, the project will contribute to capacity building and improving the quality of education and scientific research activities at universities through international cooperation and the realization of international projects. The main goals of the Internationalization Strategy will be: improving study programs, increasing the number of incoming and outgoing mobility, enhancing cooperation with foreign universities, scientific institutions, the economy, and other partner institutions through international projects, digitalization, inclusion, and environmental sustainability. The role of the CDC will be to assist students and graduates of higher education institutions in the Western Balkans in realizing their career plans, meaning helping them acquire relevant experiences, knowledge, and skills during their studies that will be important for further development and employment, as well as connecting them with the business community and preparing them for a successful entry into the labor market after completing their studies.
