U periodu od 23. do 25. rujna 2025. godine u Madridu  održat će se treći sastanak partnera projekta INTECO (Project: 101177758 — INTECO — ERASMUS-EDU-2024-CBHE).

Domaćin sastanka je Universidad Politecnica de Madrid (UPM), a u radu će sudjelovati predstavnici partnerskih institucija:

• Evropski univerzitet  Brčko district 
• Sveučilište/Univerzitet "VITEZ"
• Sveučilište Hercegovina 
• Univerzitet Adriatik  Bar 
• Universidad Politecnica de Madrid (UPM)
• Veleučilište Baltazar Zaprešić
• Akademija tehničko-umjetničkih strukovnih studija Beograd
• RTV Hit doo Brčko Distrikt 

Program sastanka obuhvatit će niz radionica, diskusija i prezentacija posvećenih unapređenju međunarodne suradnje visokoškolskih institucija Zapadnog Balkana. Ključne teme uključuju:

• ulogu i aktivnosti međunarodnih ureda,
• razvoj i harmonizaciju strategija za internacionalizaciju,
• kreiranje akcionih planova za osnivanje i jačanje centara za međunarodnu suradnju,
• mogućnosti i izazove Erasmus programa i međunarodnih partnerstava.

Sastanak u Madridu predstavlja značajan korak ka ostvarenju ciljeva projekta INTECO, čija je misija jačanje kapaciteta visokoškolskih ustanova Zapadnog Balkana kroz internacionalizaciju, modernizaciju i razvoj održivih partnerstava sa institucijama Europske unije.

We are pleased to announce the third transnational meeting of the INTECO project, which will take place in Madrid from September 23 to 25, 2025. The meeting will be hosted by Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), one of the project’s key partner institutions.

The main focus of this meeting will be the establishment of an international relations office, along with a broader discussion on the internationalization of higher education institutions. Special emphasis will be placed on the development of an institutional internationalization strategy, aiming to strengthen the capacity of partner universities to engage in international academic and research activities in a sustainable way.

During the meeting, participants will review the progress made so far, including completed tasks, achieved results, and any challenges encountered. The agenda will also include planning for upcoming activities and defining next steps to ensure the successful implementation of the remaining phases of the project.

Active participation of all partners, exchange of knowledge and best practices, and collaborative planning will be essential components of this important gathering in Madrid.

Na Evropskom univerzitetu u Brčkom dana 05 i 06 decembra 2024. godine održan je prvi sastanak na kome je predstavljen Međunarodni projekat INTECO koji je posvećen unapređenju obrazovanja na Zapadnom Balkanu uz uvođenje pametnih tehnologija i osnivanje Centara za međunarodnu saradnju i Centara za razvoj karijere. EUBD - European University Leading International Consortia for the Advancement of Education – HIT Television

The first meeting presenting the international INTECO project, dedicated to advancing education in the Western Balkans through the introduction of smart technologies and the establishment of Centers for International Cooperation and Career Development Centers, was held at the European University in Brčko on December 5 and 6, 2024.

The project is led by the European University Brčko, and the international consortium consists of:
EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY OF BRCKO DISTRICT, SVEUCILISTE/UNIVERZITET VITEZ, SVEUCILISTE HERCEGOVINA, UNIVERZITET ADRIATIK BAR, UNIVERSIDAD POLITECNICA DE MADRID, VELEUCILISTE S PRAVOM JAVNOSTI BALTAZAR ZAPRESIC, ACADEMY OF TECHNICAL AND ARTISTIC VOCATIONAL STUDIES from BELGRADE, and HIT TELEVISION from Brčko.

Evropski univerzitet Brčko distrikt, Evropski univerzitet “Kallos” Tuzla, Evropski fakultet „Kallos“ Beograd i Fakultet za evropske pravno-političke studije u Beogradu organizovali su dana 9. maja 2025. godine XIII Međunarodni naučni skup na temu Briga o starijim licima u savremenom društvu, koji je održan u Brčkom u prostorijama Evropskog univerziteta s početkom u 11.00 sati. Prezentovana je 143 rada, koja su pripremili naučnici i stručnjaci iz preko 20 država sveta.

U okviru ovog skupa održana je i promocija međunarodnog Erasmus + projekta INTECO, čiji je cilj  da se uz pomoć partnera iz evropske unije omogući visokoškolskim ustanovama sa Zapadnog Balkana jača povezanost sa privrednim kompanijama iz regiona, da se otvore centari za međunarodnu suradnju i centari za razvoj karijere na visokoškolskim institucijama Zapadnog Balkana.

EUBD - XIII International Scientific Conference, May 9, 2025 – RTV Slon Tuzla Broadcast

The European University Brčko District, European University “Kallos” Tuzla, European Faculty “Kallos” Belgrade, and the Faculty of European Legal and Political Studies in Belgrade organized the XIII International Scientific Conference on the topic Caring for the Elderly in Contemporary Society on May 9, 2025. The event was held at the premises of the European University in Brčko, starting at 11:00 a.m. A total of 143 papers were presented, prepared by scientists and experts from more than 20 countries around the world.

As part of this conference, a promotion of the international Erasmus+ project INTECO was also held. The project aims, with the help of partners from the European Union, to strengthen the connection between higher education institutions from the Western Balkans and regional business companies, and to establish Centers for International Cooperation and Career Development Centers at higher education institutions across the Western Balkans.

Evropski univerzitet Brčko distrikt i Evropski univerzitet „Kallos“ Tuzla u četvrtak, 10.04.2025. godine, organizovali su za buduće studente Dan otvorenih vrata Univerziteta. Organizovan je dolazak maturanata autobusom iz Brčkog i drugih okolnih mjesta.

Svečani prijem budućih studenata održan je u Velikom amfiteatru Univerziteta, na adresi Bijeljinska cesta bb, Brčko, s početkom u 12.00 sati.

Poseta je doprinela jačanju veza između srednjoškolskih i visokoškolskih ustanova, a istovremeno je podržala vidljivost i širenje rezultata Erasmus+ projekta INTECO, gde je Evropski univerzitet Brčko kordinator projekta, a partneri su iz BiH, Crne Gore, Hrvatske, Srbije i Španije.

Cilj projekta je da omogući visokoškolskim ustanovama sa Zapadnog Balkana jaču povezanost sa privrednim kompanijama iz regiona, otvaranjem novih centara za međunarodnu suradnju, centara za razvoj karijere na visokoškolskim institucijama Zapadnog Balkana, kao i razvoj strategije internacionalizacije uz pomoć partnera iz EU.

EUBD - Visit of High School Students from Brčko and Surrounding Areas to the European University Brčko District on April 10, 2025

The European University Brčko District and the European University “Kallos” Tuzla organized an Open Day for prospective students on Thursday, April 10, 2025. High school seniors were transported by bus from Brčko and nearby areas.

The official reception of future students was held in the Grand Amphitheater of the University, located at Bijeljinska cesta bb, Brčko, starting at 12:00 p.m.

The visit contributed to strengthening ties between secondary and higher education institutions and also supported the visibility and dissemination of results from the Erasmus+ project INTECO. The European University Brčko is the coordinator of this project, with partners from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, Serbia, and Spain.

The aim of the project is to enable higher education institutions in the Western Balkans to strengthen their connections with regional business companies by establishing new Centers for International Cooperation and Career Development Centers at Western Balkan higher education institutions, as well as to develop internationalization strategies with the support of EU partners.

Povodom dana dijabetesa, na Evropskom univerzitetu u Brčkom dana 24.04.2025. godine održana je konferencija posvećena podizanju svijesti o važnosti prevencije i pravilnog liječenja dijabetesa.

Organizator ovog značajnog događaja bilo je Udruženje dijabetičara Brčko distrikta, a Evropski univerzitet Brčko distrikt  s ponosom je ustupio svoj prostor i podržao ovu inicijativu.
U okviru ove konferencije održana je i promocija međunarodnog Erasmus + projekta INTECO, čiji je cilj  da omogući visokoškolskim ustanovama sa Zapadnog Balkana jaču povezanost sa privrednim kompanijama iz regiona, otvaranje novih Centara za međunarodnu suradnju i Centara za razvoj karijere na visokoškolskim institucijama Zapadnog Balkana uz pomoć partnera iz EU.

EUBD – Diabetes Conference at EUBD, April 24, 2025

On the occasion of Diabetes Day, a conference dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of prevention and proper treatment of diabetes was held at the European University in Brčko on April 24, 2025.

The organizer of this significant event was the Diabetes Association of the Brčko District, and the European University Brčko District proudly provided its premises and supported this initiative.

As part of the conference, a promotion of the international Erasmus+ project INTECO was also held. The goal of the project is to enable higher education institutions in the Western Balkans to strengthen their cooperation with regional business companies, and to establish new Centers for International Cooperation and Career Development Centers at higher education institutions in the Western Balkans with the support of EU partners.
